Vittorio Russo – Racconti di viaggi, geografie, storie e cose

preface by Ennio Cavalli

“This is a different journey, of searching, of fulfilling distant desires.”

THE BOOK: A series of tales that are journeys of thought through geographies, histories, nuanced dimensions and times of other ages. The surreal tone, irony and plot, combined in a skilful and crystalline writing, become the pretext for a call to reflect on the realities of life. In the stories emerges the symbolism of images that are only apparently cryptic and mysterious, which in reality constitute the common thread that guides the ultimate meaning of the concreteness of everyday life.

Vittorio Russo A long-time captain for decades, he is a journalist, traveler and writer. He has published research and studies on the origins of religions and Christianity, including The Il Gesù storico (1978) and La porta degli esili sogni (2017). His travels have given rise to books that intertwine geography, myth and history, such as India mystical and mysterious (2008), Transiberiana (Sandro Teti Editore, 2017) and L’Uzbekistan di Alessandro Magno (Sandro Teti Editore, 2019).
